6 Reasons We Love Tankless Water Heaters
May 20, 2022
1. You'll never run out of hot water again. Ever been in the middle of a relaxing, warm shower when suddenly the water goes ice cold because someone flushed a toilet? With a tankless water heater, you'll never yelp over an unexpected cold rinse again! In fact, you could have two people taking a shower, run the laundry and the dishwasher at the same time, and never have to worry.
2. Tankless Water Heaters are up to 96% energy efficient. "For homes that use 41 gallons or less of hot water daily, demand water heaters can be 24%-34% more energy efficient than conventional storage tank water heaters," concludes the Department of Energy. This efficiency is reflected in savings for the homeowner. Which brings us to our next point:
3. They save you money. Tankless water heaters only use energy to heat the water when you request it (or turn on the tap) rather than constantly running, like traditional tanks. This means you only use the energy you need. The Department of Energy reports that tankless water heaters save homeowners over $100 per year - if you have several people in your home, it's easy to multiply that times two or three! What does that really mean for the homeowner? Rolling this into the cost of your mortgage, this could give you an extra $4,000 buying power for your home purchase.
4. They're easy to maintain and service. Tankless water heaters are designed to be low maintenance, with easy access to any key component in just minutes.
5. You'll get a warranty. Each of our tankless water heaters is tested prior to delivery, so you know you're getting a quality product that works as intended. Every homeowner will receive a 5-year warranty including labor & parts, so in the event that there is something that needs to be addressed, all you'll need to do is call.
6. They are long lasting. Tankless water heaters last around 20 years - twice as long as traditional water tanks. Because there is no thermal stress from gallons and gallons of heated water sitting around the tank, there is just naturally less wear and tear than you'd get with a traditional water heater tank. We love that tankless water heaters give our homeowners confidence that they won't need to replace their system for literal decades.
At Capital Homes, we are proud to now include tankless water heaters in every new home we build. Because of all these benefits, we believe it's just the right thing to do. This is one of many ways Capital Homes are Built To a Higher Standard.

What Our
Homebuyers Are Saying
"The ease of not having to take care of hardly anything has been wonderful. A new home, a retirement community and peace of mind knowing we had a community of folks just like us sounded like a little slice of heaven. It has been 3 years now and we are settled into our daily routine. Giggling on our front porch, cooking our favorite foods, putting together puzzles and enjoying the simple things in life."
